Okay, to get a few things straight. I live along the coast in Texas, in the USofA. It's always hot and humid here...but GUESS WHAT?

It bloody SNOWED last night. It SNOWED. I received a text from one of my friends around 9:15 saying 'hey it snowin' and I went to look out the front door...and it WAS. It was bloody snowing in Southeast Texas. I was so excited, I was jumping for joy and squealing like a little gradeschool girl. I love the snow. Even though I hate the cold, I love snow.

I kept going to the door every five minutes to make sure it was still snowing...and the snowflakes kept getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and bigger! Our whole porch was covered with two inches of snow when I finally couldn't take it anymore. I put on some shoes (no socks, stupid me), a light hoodie jacket, put the hood up, got some old work gloves, and went outside. I gathered all the snow from the porch that I could and I made a snowman! A snowman, of all things.

Then, when my brother came out to fascinate at the snow with me, when his back was turned, I gathered snow and made a ball, and had my very first snowball fight at the age of sixteen. I was having so much fun. I couldn't beliee it.

I love the snow now. But, it probably won't happen again for years, at the very least. The last time that it snowed was back on Christmas Eve of 2004, and we had a white Christmas that year...for once. And before that...I never remembered it snowing down here. I was so excited, so happy...but now...it's melting.

It's going to get up to 56 frikkin degrees today, and the snow is going to melt by tonight. How sad is that? *sighs sadly* I wish it would stay, just for one day...just stay for a little while, so that maybe I could have another snowball fight with my brother, or smack my dad upside the head with a slushball, even. I would love to be able to do that.

But not anymore. It's going to melt by the time I get home from school. How stupid is that?

Anyway...as I wollow in my boredom...I must go get ready for school (that is starting 2 hours late...). To those of you where it snows at least once a year, I am very jealous of you. I love the snow.

I never want it to go away.
